Funding successes and progress updates

Gwennap

We are delighted to announce that working with our excellent design team of consultants, we have just completed and submitted a planning application for ten new 100% affordable homes in the Parish of Gwennap – 7 for rent and 3 for Shared Ownership sale.  A full update on the scheme will be available on our website early in the New Year.

Thanks to CAF Venturesome

For both of the above projects, the CAF Venturesome’s Investment Committee recently approved development loan finance together with further grant support from Power to Change.  With no further Community Housing Fund grant available currently, our funding partners CAF Venturesome offer a vital lifeline to keep projects moving and CCLT’s development pipeline progressing.

Self-building on the Isles of Scilly – Ennor Farm Update

Working in partnership with the Council of the Isles of Scilly, an application process for the self-build plots at Ennor Farm on St Mary’s will open early in the New Year.  These 12 serviced plots will be available only to applicants eligible under the Council’s Specific Local Need Policy. Once eligibility has been processed by the Council, Cornwall CLT will continue with the assessment of applicants financial means and the final allocation of plots.
