Despite an incredibly tight timescale, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly’s community-led housing projects have done well to submit a good range of bids to the £4million national Community Housing Fund pot. Most of which were successful. CCLT and our community and professional partners are now full steam ahead to get pre-development work completed by the 31st March deadline. Amongst these is CCLT’s project with the community of the Isles of Scilly – in partnership with the islands’ Council – to provide 12 self-build homes on a site provided by the Duchy of Cornwall on St Mary’s. We’ll provide updates on other successful projects in future newsletters.
