We were deeply saddened to hear the news of the sudden and unexpected death on 3rd June of our founding Director and until recently, Company Secretary, Alan Fox (also known to many as ‘Foxy’).

Alan was exceptional in the world of community-led homes for locals and before that a highly regarded local authority and housing association professional. Alan shaped, drove and offered wise advice and counselling to Cornwall Community Land Trust (CCLT) since he helped found it in 2006/7 and was admired throughout the country for his expertise and achievements.  CCLT is Alan Fox and Alan Fox was central to the success of CCLT.

Alan’s successor and CEO, Andrew George, said, “Alan was a giant in our world. We hung on his every word and admired his advice and wisdom. He was a great friend and mentor. Serious, wise, generous, committed, principled and very humorous. Alan was the epitome of the perfect colleague. We are all shocked, heart-broken, stunned and grieving. Our sympathies are with Carole and his family.”
